Portfolio- Spatial Analysis

Potential Dig Sites Project:
This project created a map of locations of all areas for potential dig sites of probable locations of civil war mobile army surgical unit(s) during the Battle of Gettysburg with identify the largest contiguous area. These locations will be used to help an historical preservation society to establish an archaeological dig and a small civil war surgery museum. The museum will be located near the largest contiguous area that satisfies all criteria in analysis part so that multistage archeological digs can be displayed to the public.

New Check Cashing Store Project:
This project created a map of best area to establish a new Check Cashing store in Raleigh, NC based on multiple factors. Potential areas must be away minimum of one miles from exist stores. In addition, they need to be within low income areas. Finally, the best area was the biggest area among the potential areas.
